036Turkey hunting tips that can save your life

Illinois Turkey hunts are a pack of adventure. Challenges are a part of the sport and I learnt this after some initial errors I made while Illinois hunting. If I were to advice my fellow hunters who are new to this, I would say, please remember a few points that will help you throughout your hunting experience. Illinois Turkey hunts are sophisticated and complex. Once, I was on my tree stand when I happened to move. A bullet passed by me immediately. Never shoot unless you are sure that it is the Turkey, else you may end up hurting your fellow hunter. Hence you should maintain caution and let others know your location. This also applies when you are using calls as a part of your strategy. Ensure that you call tempts the animal rather than another hunter.
These life saving tips are applicable and practical. Similarly, when following the trail of the Turkey, be extra careful in avoiding a hunter. When you use a bow to hunt, ensure that you use a color that can be easily recognized. In case you develop a wrong notion that it hit the target, your trophy may run away. Always remember that Illinois hunting outfitters must be standardized orange so that others can easily differentiate you. Avoid making noises that allow you to fall to another hunter. Prior to your hunt, do let the staff or some friend know about your whereabouts. This can help you in case of any emergency. Life is precious and time is precious too. In the end, I would advice you not to jump up immediately after the trophy has been shot. Instead, warn other hunters about your presence through sounds or signals or loud voice and only then go for it. Else, in your attempt to camouflage, you may put your life to danger.
